Kayaking

In the summer of 2006, I purchased a Dagger Element 11.2 kayak from Lacke & Joy's in Milwaukee. I have taken it out on the Milwaukee River a few times, but unfortunately the river is too shallow and polluted to really enjoy. I am hoping to take it to some rivers or lakes in Iowa or western Wisconsin for a more enjoyable trip. Eventually I may upgrade to a touring kayak and go on some multi-day expeditions. I am still a bit of a "n00b" when it comes to kayaking, but eventually I will hopefully learn the eskimo roll and other skills.
